During her Masters research at the University of Auckland she took an innovative approach to dance by looking at the experiences of community dance practitioners in New Zealand prison environments.
“To someone is considering an innovative or entrepreneurial career pathway, I would say to follow their passion and just give it go. Stay curious, reflect on yourself and your ideas, and just keeping moving towards what you want to achieve and where you want to be.”
Kristie graduated from the University of Auckland with a Master of Dance Studies and is now studying towards a PhD in Dance Studies.
