Start-up Support

Do you have an innovative or a business idea, but are you unsure on your next step? Are you a budding entrepreneur facing a challenge? Or are you looking for some suggestions on how to grow your start-up business? CIE’s Start-up Support sessions are for you wherever you are on your journey!

These sessions are free and open to all current students, recent alumni and staff of the University of Auckland.

How it works

Whether you prefer to be spontaneous and drop in to see us or book a slot that fits your schedule, we’ve got you covered.

Come and see us in person at Unleash Space (you don’t need a booking):

Monday 4-5 pm

Friday 12-1 pm

OR

Book a virtual conversation with one of our friendly Programmes team.

You will have an opportunity to share your entrepreneurial story and any questions or challenges you need help with. We will then identify what support or resources would be useful to you at this stage.

What you will gain from a session?

When building a start-up, you are likely to run into some questions that you’d like advice on. Our team will help you get a different perspective, stretch your thinking and together brainstorm next best steps to move your venture forward. Being a founder is challenging and can sometimes be a lonely experience. So sharing your thoughts, questions, and support you need can help you accelerate growth, both personally and for your venture.

We can recommend CIE programmes that might be of interest to you and connect you with our start-up ecosystem. Based on the stage of your idea or venture, we can also arrange for consultations with subject-matter experts in relevant areas of innovation and entrepreneurship.
